Amenities Standard Suites

The Standard Suites are the 36m2 studio apartments facing the Dyrhólaey cliffs and ocean shore.

Each of them consists of a private bathroom with a set of towels, branded soaps and hair products as well as a hairdryer. A welcoming hall has a large wardrobe with hangers and a chest of drawers for functional storage. The sleeping area provides a set up of either a double queen-size bed or two single beds and a convertible sofa. The kitchenette comes with a small dining area and is well equipped with a fridge, induction stove, microwave, toaster, and utensils.

The other highlights of the apartment are a private patio with unforgettable scenery, free WiFi and a flat-screen TV with Netflix, and last but not least a coffee machine with complimentary coffee.

Great hotel, very clean, beautiful view

My fiance and I stayed for 2 nights in the newer ocean view studio room. The place is very clean, has a sleek modern look and feel and a very beautiful view. There is a bar in the main area which was great to grab a quick drink or bite. The town of Vik is a quick 5 minute drive (not a quick walk though... so you need a car to get around from the hotel.. still worth it though for the view). Would definitely recommend. The only minor annoyance is their room doors... soo incredibly difficult to lock and unlock goodness

Comfortable stay with great views

We had a great stay and wish we had more than just one night here. Check-in was easy and helpful, learning about the area and where to go have dinner. The location was fantastic, just a short drive to the beach or to Vik. The views were beautiful. Parking was right outside the door. The room itself was very nice and comfortable. There was an entrance with a clean and bright bathroom, then the studio through another door. There were beds, sofa bed, kitchen area, tv with Netflix, etc. I also enjoyed going onto the little patio just outside.

Very nice accommodation

Big room (#15) with beautiful view of farmland and Icelandic horses. The beach is visible from the room-about a 5 minute drive away. Location is outside of town area, about a 5 minute drive as well, quiet and somewhat isolated (we liked that!). Large private bathroom. Very clean. Staff very accommodating and professional. We would definitely stay again.
(As in many places in Iceland, the driveway was rocky/gravel so drive slowly.)

Our Favorite in Iceland

On a lightning-fast trip around Iceland, we stayed at a different hotel every night for a week. This was, by far, our favorite place to stay. It is outside the town of Vik but still very convenient to everything. Black Beach is 5 min. drive and Vik is about a 10 min. drive away.
The Suites are located in a little complex with a main building that has a really nice bar and inviting atmosphere. The surrounding area is just outstanding and so serene. You feel as if you've been plopped down in a peaceful paradise. Really.

The Suites themselves are very well designed and very well soundproofed. We did not hear a peep from the people staying next door. There is a huge bathroom, plenty of storage, a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great black-out curtains (important during the Summer) and a wonderful view. What more could you ask?

I'd highly recommend this accommodation if you are planning your trip around Iceland. You won't regret it.
